Leah Simmons is a qualified pilates instructor, personal trainer and Kundalini yoga teacher with an insatiable passion for all things health and fitness. She has always led an active lifestyle and, after almost 2 decades in the music industry as a DJ and artist manager, she craved a new direction. A career in fitness was the next logical step for Leah and considering her love for the Pilates method she dove headfirst into teacher training with one of the founders of Pilates in Australia, Helen Tardent. Leah completed her Pilates Studio Certification with Pilates Moves in 2006, and has since added her Certificate III & IV in Personal Training (TAFE) and Level I Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training (KRI).

The basis for Leah’s popularity is simple. She is the girl next door. She’s a busy mother who juggles work and family with a proactive attitude and a sense of humour. She’s easy to relate to, she’s a part of the real world. If SHE can, YOU can. There’s no trick. Her philosophy is simple – if you work hard, you get results. That’s evident from her personal health and fitness journey. She is a favourite of several high profile activewear brands fronting a variety of campaigns. Leah has written extensive articles for various print and online publications and is featured heavily across many and varied social media platforms as a fitness inspiration.

Based on Leah’s own personal health and fitness journey, she came to the realisation that TRUE HEALTH comes from more than just physical fitness. She learned that there are actually FOUR PILLARS OF HEALTH (Mental, Physical, Emotional & Spiritual) and that each one is directly linked to the other. So she set about discovering how she could train ALL FOUR for total optimum health - and THE ELEVATE METHOD was born.
